Welcome to Rügen—come see for yourself; your adventure awaits!

Why Rügen?

Rügen offers a unique blend of seaside resorts, natural diversity and thrilling challenges. From the hills of Mönchgut and the forest of Baabe to the classic spa architecture of Sellin and the vibrant flair of Binz – the ÖTILLÖ Swimrun Rügen connects all of them in a stunning course. Towering chalk cliffs in the background and the crystal-clear waters of the Baltic Sea provide a stunning scenery throughout the competition.

Rügen is the ideal destination for anyone to be swept away by the dynamism of nature and the challenge of the ÖTILLÖ Swimrun.

The southeast of Germany’s largest island boasts a variety of landscapes, making it perfect for both relaxing gataways and adventurous activities. Just a stone’s throw away from Binz, you’ll find Jasmund National Park with its ancient beech forests and the iconic chalk cliff – a spectacular Backdrop for your competition. After the race? Explore the island on foot, or by bike, or on a scenic boat tour.
