Race Details
The new Sprint course starts at the Kurplatz/ Kurpavillon in Göhren (busses will bring you there) and heads towards Nordperd, where the chalk cliffs and the first swim segment shape the maritime character of the route. It continues through Baabe to Sellin before entering the Granitzer Forst, taking athletes along varied forest and coastal trails towards Binz. After the final swim and run sections, the course finishes at the end of the pier in Binz. The route combines Rügen’s striking south-eastern seaside resorts with the island’s characteristic forest landscape for a fast and highly scenic Sprint distance.
An ÖTILLÖ Sprint race is the perfect swimrun race for those of you who feel that the World Series is too much or for those who want to go fast. Traditionally we have everything from very strong racers to absolute beginner Swimrunners doing the Sprint distances. Race in pairs or solo.
