ÖTILLÖ Swimrun Merit Races
In all ÖTILLÖ Swimrun Merit Races, you collect points towards the ÖTILLÖ Swimrun ranking system. Every year, we will select teams to ÖTILLÖ, The Swimrun World Championship based on ranking in the end of the year.
We are delighted to present you our NEW TIER SYSTEM for all merit races. Depending on the tier of the race, you can either just collect ranking points, get ranking points and free entries for ÖTILLÖ World Series races, or get ranking points and direct entries to the ÖTILLÖ, The World Championship.
There will be a total of 14 ÖTILLÖ merit races in 2023, which are divided into the following tiers:
- Tier 1: Races where you can qualify directly to ÖTILLÖ, The Swimrun World Championship (first men, women and mixed). -> direct qualification spots! Entry fees to be paid by the teams.
- Tier 2: Races where the winners in each category gets a free start in a World Series race of choice.
- Tier 3: Ranking points only.
Note: Every finishing team gets ranking points in all tiers.

SwimRun Lake James is located at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina and offers rolling terrain with beautiful lake waters.

EX hosts three races in and around beautiful Edsviken, only 15 minutes by train from central Stockholm. With the ARK Supersprint, EX Short 14km and EX Long 23km there is a race for everyone from world elite to first time racers.

The Roseland is a stunning but tough trip along the beautiful and rugged Cornish Coastline from one pretty seaside village to another taking in breathtaking scenery and amazing swims. This race has everything and is the UK’s only Merit race.
