ÖTILLÖ SWIMRUN ORCAS ISLAND 2024
A perfect setting for an unforgettable Swimrun experience!
ÖTILLÖ WORLD SERIES ORCAS ISLAND – SEPTEMBER 15TH The sixth edition of ÖTILLÖ Orcas Island took place on September 15th on a foggy, Pacific Northwest weekend. 257 athletes competed across a World Series distance (total distance: 39k, run distance: 33k, swim distance: 6k); a Sprint distance (total distance: 22k, run distance: 19k, swim distance: 3k); and an Experience distance (total distance: 10k, run distance: 9k, swim distance: 1k). Todd Jackson, one-half of the winning men’s Worlds Series team, had this to say about Orcas Island: “The local culture, trails and lakes make the perfect setting for a swimrun experience that allows racers to get a unique look at what the San Juan Islands and the Pacific Northwest have to offer. The course is a great opportunity to test yourself over rugged and scenic terrain. I can’t wait for the next one!” |
