ÖTILLÖ is excited to announce ÖTILLÖ Swimrun Åland

The Åland archipelago is located between Sweden and Finland and with its 6’700 islands makes up a true Swimrun Paradise! With its unique blend of stunning natural landscapes and diverse aquatic environments, the region offers the perfect backdrop for an ÖTILLÖ Swimrun event.
From challenging courses that test endurance with open-water swims and scenic trail runs to shorter routes, it’s designed for athletes of all levels. For the first time, we’re thrilled to also introduce a dedicated kids’ race, ensuring there’s something for the whole family.

The inaugural ÖTILLÖ Swimrun Åland will take place on August 9th and August 10th 2025 and will offer races in three distances World Series (45.7km), Sprint (15.5km) and Experience (6.4km) as well as a Kids race.

ÖTILLÖ Swimrun Åland is an exciting new addition to our race calendar. After consolidating our business in 2023, expanding to the US in 2024, this is now the next stage of our plan to grow the sport of Swimrun in Europe in ever new and exciting destinations.

We are pleased to announce the collaboration with Swimrun AG and the launch of ÖTILLÖ Swimrun Åland 2025, a unique and challenging event that will take place on 9-10 August 2025. Thanks to the collaboration, even the long distance starting from Havsvidden in Geta and the finish line in Käringsund, Eckerö will resume. An exciting day with combined swimming and running through Åland’s beautiful archipelago. Perhaps the most unique and genuine environment for swimrun?
