Registration opening
The registration for ÖTILLÖ Swimrun Engadin 2025 is now open. The event will take place on Saturday, July 5th, 2025 in the beautiful Engadin Valley in Switzerland. You get to explore hanging glaciers, emerald-colored lakes, big mountains, winding trails, and Swiss cows (+ horses). Sign up now and enjoy a low “Early bird” fee until Christmas Eve.
Why Engadin?
This race, hosted in Silvaplana, was the first ÖTILLÖ race outside Sweden. It launched the international Swimrun movement in 2014. In Engadin, you will run on trails through forests of Swiss stone-pine trees, passing picturesque little mountain villages with its distinct Engadin-style architecture. You will swim in fresh mountain lakes that glitter in the sun. The weather in the mountains at this time of year can be anything from a nice summer day to a cold, hard day out. The altitude of 1800 metres adds to the challenge.
Getting to Engadin
The closest airports to the Engadin Valley are Zurich, Milan, or Bergamo. We suggest you take the train from Zurich and enjoy the stunning 3 ½ hour journey to St. Moritz, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the Engadin Valley there is a great public bus system, which we recommend you use to get to your accommodation. If you are travelling from Milan or Bergamo, you will need to rent a car.
