Registration opening

Registration for ÖTILLÖ Swimrun Austin is now open. The event will take place on Sunday, November 9th, 2025, set in a stunning, rustic landscape with single-track forest trails, dramatic shoreline rock formations, and thrilling cliff jumps into the cool Colorado River. It’s the ultimate Texas-sized finale to the ÖTILLÖ Swimrun USA season.

Why Austin?

Pace Bend Park is located in the western part of Travis County, nestled in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. With over nine miles of scenic shoreline along Lake Travis, it’s a popular destination for those seeking a variety of outdoor activities. The park’s west side features dramatic limestone cliffs and rocky coves, offering breathtaking views of the lake, particularly at sunset. A seven-mile paved loop road provides easy access to most areas of the park by vehicle, but the interior is a protected wildlife preserve, accessible only on foot, by bicycle, or horseback. Several trails wind through the hills, offering panoramic views of both the lake and the surrounding Hill Country. The park is home to diverse wildlife, including whitetail deer, raccoons, foxes, ringtail cats, and numerous bird species.

Getting to Austin

Fly into Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS), rent a car, and take a scenic one-hour drive northwest to Pace Bend Park.
