Lovely sunny weather on Utö today, all courses are now marked, the current water temperature around the island is on average 12 degrees Celsius (low: 11.7 / high: 13.9). As the water temperatures this year are unseasonably low, we have shortened some swims to reduce your time in the water.

All course maps have been updated on the interactive map on the website (refresh the browser and select your respective distance)

The changes by distance are the following: 

World Series:

Swim 7: Ängsholmen – Stora Persholmen – swim shortened
Swim 8: Rävstavik – swim shortened
Swim 10: Krokarna – swim shortened

The last segment of the course via Tallholmen was eliminated.  

Sprint:

Swim 4: Ängsholmen – Stora Persholmen – swim shortened
Swim 5: Rävstavik – swim shortened
Swim 7: Krokarna – swim shortened
