Terms & Conditions – Find a Teammate

1. Introduction

Welcome to the “Find a Teammate” service provided by Swimrun AG. This tool is designed to help Swimrun athletes find teammates for upcoming races or training purposes. By using this service, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

2. User Profiles

2.1 Creating a Profile

  • Eligibility: Only individuals who are 18 years of age or older may create an account.
  • Account Information: You must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process, including your name, email address, age, gender, country and city.
  • By creating a profile, you agree that your profile information will be publicly visible on otilloswimrun.com/find-a-teammate/, including your first name, gender, age, country and city.
  • Account Maintenance: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

2.2 Editing and Deleting Profiles

  • Editing and Deleting: Users can edit or delete their profiles at any time through the account settings.
  • Once deleted, your profile information will be removed from the Platform, but copies may remain in our system for backup and administrative purposes.

3. Communication Between Users

  • Contacting Other Users: Only users with a “Teammate” account can contact other users through the provided email form.
  • Communication Etiquette: Users must communicate respectfully and responsibly. Harassment, abuse, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.

4. User Conduct

By using the Platform, you agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
  • Harass, threaten, demean, embarrass, or otherwise harm any other user of the Platform.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent yourself or your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Collect or store any personally identifiable information from the Platform without the express permission of the user.
  • Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Platform (or the servers and networks which are connected to the Platform).

5. Termination

  • Termination by User: You may delete your account at any time if you no longer wish to use the service.
  • Termination by Swimrun AG: Swimrun AG reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms and conditions or engage in any behaviour that Swimrun AG deems inappropriate.

6. Privacy and Data Use

  • Data Sharing: The information provided in your profile will only be shared on the ÖTILLÖ Swimrun website and not on any other platforms.
  • Data Usage: Your personal information will be used solely for the purpose of connecting you with potential teammates.

7. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Swimrun AG does not guarantee that the Platform will operate without interruptions, be error-free, or be free from viruses or other harmful components.

8. Modifications to the Platform

Swimrun AG reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Platform or any features or portions thereof without prior notice. You agree that Swimrun AG will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Platform or any part thereof.
