The past four weeks have been the most difficult in our 15-year ÖTILLÖ history.
The Corona crisis is affecting us like everybody else. As a consequence, we have been forced to change our event schedule for this season.
Below you will find information on all various changes to the upcoming events.

ÖTILLÖ Swimrun Hvar 2020 – Updated info
Everyone who is registered to ÖTILLÖ Swimrun Hvar 2020 has automatically been moved to the new date in November.
If you cannot participate on the new date, you get 50% off on any race in 2020 in the same category. To be able to take part of this offer you need to send an email to info@otilloswimrun.com before June 2nd, 2020 with which race you are registered to, your team name and to which race you would like to have a 50% code (only one per team). We will then remove you from the start list of the Hvar race.
ÖTILLÖ Swimrun Utö 2020 – Postponed to the end of September 2020
In Sweden the government does not allow any activities with more than 50 persons. Around the world travel bans are in place and some of you are confined to your homes.
We have decided to move ÖTILLÖ Swimrun Utö to September 26 – 27, 2020.
Entry Fees
- Everyone who is registered to ÖTILLÖ Swimrun Utö today will be automatically moved to the new date.

ÖTILLÖ Swimrun Isles of Scilly 2020 – Cancelled due to Force Majeure
The British Government has suspended all unneccessary travel to and from the UK.
The Isles of Scilly is a small and very vurneable island community with a lot of elderly people. They have taken the drastic measure of cancelling all travel to the islands before June 30th to try to protect the community.
All travel that you have with Isles of Scilly Travel will stay as credit on your account through 2021. Please contact them directly in this matter.
Depending on the outcome of the Covid-19 crisis and the consequences it has for the Isles of Scilly community and economy we cannot (and they cannot) tell if we will be able to have a race there in 2021.
Entry Fees
- The drastic consequence of the Covid-19 situation is that we will not be able to refund any entry fees for races cancelled due to this Force Majeure.
- However, we will give everyone 100% off on any other race in 2020 in the same category. Please send an email to info@otilloswimrun.com and inform us when you know which race you would like to take part in. Tell us which race distance you are registered to, your team name and to which race you would like to have a 100% code (only one per team).
ÖTILLÖ Swimrun Engadin 2020 – Postponed to July 25 – 26 2020
Due to the Covid-19 situation in Europe we have decided to move the Engadin race until July 25 & 26, 2020. This is so we can give as many people as possible a chance to be able to participate.
This will be the only remaining Qualifier before ÖTILLÖ, The Swimrun World Championship 2020. We will have 8 spots in men, 8 spots in mixed and 8 spots in women.

Ötillö swimrun 1000 Lakes 2020
We will not open registration for ÖTILLÖ Swimrun 1000 Lakes in 2020 as it will be the weekend before the new date för ÖTILLÖ Swimrun Utö.
Hopefully we can be back in 2021 and put on a fantastic race together.

Qualification Spots
As we will lose the qualification spots from Hvar, Utö and the Isles of Scilly – in total 6 in each category – these will all be moved to ÖTILLÖ Swimrun Engadin 2020.
This means that we in Engadin will distribute a total of 24 spots, being 8 in each category.
Entry Fee
This race is a “By Invitation Only” race and does not fall in the same category as above races.
To keep the selection process for ÖTILLÖ, The Swimrun World Championship 2020 going we have asked the teams invited to guarantee their spot by paying the entry fee. As a measure to alleviate the financial risk for these racers we have promised 95% refund on their entry fees if we do not host the event due to Covid-19.
7/24 Programme
The racers that as of today (April 9th, 2020) can show that they are registered to the World Series race in Hvar, Utö and/or Isles of Scilly can credit that race to their results.
Future ÖTILLÖ Swimrun races in 2020
If a race is cancelled or postponed due to Covid-19 the teams registered on the day of notification (minimum 4 weeks in advance) will be offered the same terms as mentioned above. No refunds will be made.
