In the end of May we will have a Swimrun ranking system live on our website.
All teams that finish a race which has ÖTILLÖ merit status will receive ranking points. These points will be split between the team members so that if you create new teams you bring your points with you.
Some of the slots to ÖTILLÖ 2017 will be offered to the teams with the best ranking points on December 31st each year.
Also, for ÖTILLÖ 2017 only teams with ranking points will be able to participate in the random team selection.
The purpose of this system is to drive more athletes to the sport of Swimrun and that the ÖTILLÖ Swimrun World Championship has the best Swimrun athletes on the start line.
More details of how the system will work will be very clear when it is live.
