New racecourse for 2022.
Gothenburg is Sweden’s second largest city. It is on the Swedish West coast, on the frontside. The city sprawls into the beautiful archipelago with thousands of granite islands and skerries. We will build on a very strong local swimrun tradition and showcase a unique place. Get ready for races out of the ordinary.
We have taken over a West coast Swimrun tradition since 2012 and created something new. This World Series is a full-throttle event. A high-speed sightseeing of a unique environment. It is also the last chance to qualify for ÖTILLÖ, The Swimrun World Championship 2022.

You want action, this is action. Constant in and out of the water. Fast runs, through beautiful hamlets, intense swims between stunning islands. You will for sure not be bored. A perfect example of swimrun on the Swedish West coast.
An ÖTILLÖ Sprint race is the perfect swimrun race for those of you who feel that the World Series is too much or for those who want to go fast. Traditionally we have everything from very strong racers to absolute beginner Swimrunners doing the Sprint distances.

New racecourse for 2022.
In the beginning of August the water is warm for Sweden, around 18 degrees. The swims are protected, the runs are easy and the atmosphere is booming. This will give you a real taste of Swedish island life on the West coast and swimrun in a beautiful environment.
The Experience race is exactly what the name implies, a swimrun experience for those completely new to the sport or for those not ready to compete over bigger distances.
Race alone or come as a team and enjoy the ÖTILLÖ Experience.
