What a day! 119 teams on the start line, 110 teams across the finish line. New barriers crushed, first time under 8 hours, first time 100+ teams across the finish line. All classes have new course records and new ÖTILLÖ Swimrun World Champions except Annika Ericsson who wins again, this time with amazing Kristin Larsson.
Everyone who enters this emotional beast of a race is a winner. Special thoughts to Eva Nyström our new mixed World Champion with Adriel Bacon. She gave birth to her daughter less than 4 months ago. Incredible strength and spirit!
Now the question is: who Will follow Daniel Hansson and Lelle Moberg through the sub-8 barrier next year!
