The best way to get to the Island of Hvar is to fly to Split, Croatia. From Split Airport you take a 30-minute bus ride or taxi to the harbour where there are daily ferries to the Island of Hvar.
Make sure you take the ferry to Town of Hvar and not Stari Grad.
The Jadrolinija ferry leaves every day at 09:30 and the ride takes 65 minutes. The ferry back to Split on Monday leaves at 12:30.
The Krilo ferry leaves four times every day, 07:40, 09:30, 16:00 and 17:00, the ride takes 50 minutes. The ferry back to Split on Monday leaves at 11:00, 14:35, 18:30 and 19:50.
