ÖTILLÖ is looking for a Race Director
Would you like to work as a Race Director for ÖTILLÖ and to complement our team?
You need to be based either in Åre or Stockholm.
As a Race Director you will be traveling to all our locations, about 70 travel days per year. At every second race location you will be the responsible Race director and at every other you will be a resource for the acting Race Director during the race weekend. We are a small team that work and travel very closely together. Position to be filled as soon as possible.
As a Race Director you will be responsible for providing the highest quality and safe race weekends for all racers, staff and volunteers. Your responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and planning courses, logistics, volunteers and safety
- The contact and follow-up with our Local event operators
- Booking travel, food and accommodation for all staff and volunteers
- All permits and contact with the local authorities
- The competition budgets
We believe that you:
- Have experience in organizing large sporting events
- Are structured
- Are solution-oriented
- Are comfortable in making sound decisions in stressful situations
- Are a team player
- Like to meet and work with new people
- Are fluent in English and Swedish
It is a bonus if you also have:
- Other language skills
The work during the race week is both physically and mentally demanding and you need to be prepared for long working days. In between the races the work consists of office work planning and preparing for the coming races.
ÖTILLÖ is looking for a Logistics assistant
Would you like to travel to Hvar, Utö, Isles of Scilly, Engadin, 1000-Lakes in Germany, Cannes and Malta during 2020?
We are looking for a Stockholm-based colleague for our logistics team to assist at all our locations. The position is an intermittent position with work mainly from April to December. You will be travelling for 9 days/destination and you will spend a total of around 15 days in our warehouse in Stockholm. Position to be filled in April.
Together with our logistics manager you will be responsible for:
- Building and taking down the ÖTILLÖ Start & Finish arena at each event
- Handling all materials during our events
- Gear maintenance in our Stockholm warehouse
Apart from this you will help out where needed during the race days.

- C-driving licence

The work is physical and you need to be prepared for long working days during the race weeks. Most of the work is based outdoors in all weather conditions.
